About
The Standhope Ultra Challenge presents three demanding distances—100 Mile, 60K, and 30K—designed for those seeking high-altitude adventure and awe-inspiring views. With climbs up to 11,000 feet, challenging terrains, and steep trails, only seasoned runners should consider entering. Aid stations require hikes to access, and mountain weather is unpredictable, adding to the race's difficulty. The 100 Mile course is a backcountry odyssey, featuring over 23,000 feet of elevation gain, testing endurance across secluded trails and long aid station gaps. The 60K offers 9,000 feet of climbing, traversing ridgelines and lakes in the Pioneer Mountains. Though shorter, the 30K is arduous, mirroring the latter part of the 60K with over 4,300 feet of ascent on rugged paths. Finishers earn handcrafted awards, making each race a notable feat.
