About
The Crazy Mountain 100 begins at the Westling Ranch in Wilsall, Montana and ends at the Berg Ranch in Lennep, both family-operated cattle ranches. The course winds through stunning landscapes, including Apsaalooke Indigenous lands and sections of private and public forests. Participants encounter breathtaking natural features such as jagged cliffs, scree fields, and high alpine lakes. This challenging race promises an experience that will resonate deeply, capturing the wild, sacred essence of the area known as Awaxaawippíia, or Ominous Mountain, by the Apsaalooke people. The event strives to be inclusive, inviting all willing to embrace its demanding journey.
