The Hennepin Hundred offers an adventure along Illinois’ only point-to-point, all-trail ultramarathon course. Starting in Sterling and ending in Colona, the race unfolds along the scenic Hennepin Canal, stretching from the Rock River to the Mississippi. This flat and fast route is ideal for setting personal records, tackling a first ultra-distance, or aiming for world-best times, making it a favorite among competitive runners. Participants traverse the historic Hennepin Canal State Trail, the longest multi-use trail in Illinois, featuring 50- and 100-mile courses.
