The Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge showcases Dorset’s UNESCO World Heritage coastline on a spectacular long-distance route of 100 km, 75 km, and 50 km. From Corfe Castle, the course drops to Swanage and then follows dramatic cliff paths past Lulworth Cove and the iconic arch of Durdle Door, with sweeping sea views and a real sense of journey along one of England’s most striking coastal landscapes. Longer routes continue through Weymouth and on toward Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and the finish at West Bay in Bridport. The terrain is demanding, with repeated steep ascents and descents that make this a true test despite strong event support, including well-marked trails, regular aid, GPS tracking, and medical cover. The atmosphere combines adventurous coastal challenge with the reassurance of a well-organised ultra.
