About
The DC Peaks 100 is a demanding mountain ultramarathon traversing northern Utah’s Wasatch Front. Starting in downtown Salt Lake City and heading north to North Salt Lake, the course features roughly 20,869 feet of vertical gain. Runners will take on a rugged mix of singletrack, service roads, and minimal pavement as they journey through foothills and canyons, encountering some of the most acclaimed trails in the area. After a punishing first section, the route melds seamlessly into the renowned DC Peaks 50 course, with highlights like the challenging Great Western Trail climb, the scenic stretches of Mueller Park, and breathtaking ridgeline views. Exposed terrain and relentless elevation changes provide a formidable test, while the supportive community and spirited finish celebrate every ultrarunner’s grit and accomplishment.
