The ALFC 50k invites runners to experience the scenic routes of Huntington, Starksboro, Hinesburg, and Richmond, blending approximately 8 miles of road with 23 miles of rugged trails. With over 5,000 feet of climbing, participants face a challenging and rewarding course that showcases the natural beauty and variety of Vermont’s landscapes. Organized by the Richmond Trail Running Club, this charity event captures the spirit of community and adventure, culminating at the lively Cochran’s Ski and Bike Area. Supported by regular aid stations, runners find inspiration in the inclusive atmosphere and the event’s commitment to supporting youth outdoor programs.
