Welcome to The Hoot’n Bulldog Track Ultra, an exciting track ultra event held at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. The main attractions are the 24-hour race, known as The Little Hoot, and the challenging 48-hour race, The Big Hoot. Runners of all abilities can test their endurance on the freshly resurfaced track, which is certified for record-eligible performances. Participants and their crew can set up in the infield, where they'll find aid stations with the usual provisions, including hot food for longer races. This event emphasizes inclusivity and celebrates achievements with unique buckles for those completing 100 or 200 miles, alongside finisher medals. Top male and female runners in each main event will receive awards. Due to USATF regulations, pacers are not allowed, except for specific allowances for young runners. Change of direction every four hours adds a dynamic twist to the journey. The race highlights its commitment to inclusivity and support for female runners with policies and amenities tailored to their needs, aiming to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
