The Black Beacon Mountain Races send runners south to north across the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog, offering a demanding yet approachable mountain ultra experience. The 100-mile and 50-mile routes pair substantial elevation with fast, largely non-technical trails and straightforward navigation, creating a test of endurance that is serious without being overly complicated underfoot.
