The Creede 100 weaves through the historic mining town of Creede, Colorado, known for its breathtaking silver past and scenic beauty. The race offers stunning landmarks like the Bachelor Loop, an underground mining museum, and the majestic North Clear Creek Falls. Runners will traverse pristine single tracks in the San Juan Mountains, climbing above 12,000 feet, where both the views and altitude are breathtaking. Participants journey along the Continental Divide for 25 miles, experiencing spectacular mountain vistas and then descending into the birthplace of the Rio Grande River. The return path includes a different route back over the Divide, offering fresh scenery before descending into Creede. This challenging route highlights the rugged elegance and historic charm of the region, making it a unique experience for runners and their supporters alike.
