About
Set deep in Northern Ontario's Laurentian Mountains, this event is famed for its challenging and remote 100% trail course. Runners are treated to vibrant autumn foliage as they traverse a 12.5 km loop featuring a dynamic mix of single track trails, old logging roads, rolling and steep hills, rocky technical sections, creek crossings, and even a sandy gravel pit with a dune. Each additional loop is completed in the opposite direction, keeping the terrain feeling fresh and new, and lending a unique twist to the experience. The atmosphere is intimate and supportive, with participants enjoying the sense of community as they pass and encourage one another on the loops. With no roads or pavement, it’s a true wilderness adventure that provides both a formidable physical challenge and a rare connection to nature for those seeking to push their limits off the beaten path.
