This ultra marathon charts an awe-inspiring route across Portugal, beginning at the country's highest point in the Serra da Estrela and culminating on the dramatic Atlantic coast at Nazaré, home to the world’s biggest waves. Participants traverse a captivating variety of landscapes, from snowy mountain peaks and winding tracks through the remote Schist Villages of Lousã, to spiritually significant trails near the Fátima Sanctuary, before descending to the iconic seaside. Challengers are tested not only by the formidable distance and elevation change but also by the unpredictable winter weather—often facing freezing temperatures, rain, and even snow at the start. This east-to-west journey blends physical and mental endurance with remarkable scenery, cultural encounters, and a powerful sense of adventure, making it a true test of resilience and determination.
