The No Business 100 offers runners a spectacular journey through the rugged beauty of the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, starting and finishing at Pickett CCC Memorial State Park. The challenging, single-loop course spans over 100 miles and traverses some of the oldest trails in the Southeast, crossing state lines between Tennessee and Kentucky. The route features miles of technical single-track, more than 14,500 feet of elevation gain, and showcases iconic natural landmarks including towering sandstone arches, dramatic overlooks, waterfalls, and abandoned settlements such as the historic No Business community. With its mix of demanding terrain and breathtaking scenery, the No Business 100 provides a truly wild and remote ultramarathon experience. Runners are treated to a variety of landmarks and must contend with the technicality of the trails, making completion a noteworthy achievement.
