Runners tackle the Formartine & Buchan railway line, journeying from Maud station to Auchnagatt, aiming to conquer as much distance as possible within a specific time. A set minimum distance is required to earn a medal and goodie bag. Toward the end, mini laps are available, with only fully completed laps contributing to the total distance. The event highlights endurance and self-challenge on a fixed path.
