The Cogmans Trail Run is a tough, highly technical mountain challenge set on the Montagu Trails Network in the Western Cape. The route circles the Montagu bowl with steep climbs, fast descents, and three major summit tests: Aasvoëlkrans Peak, Cogmans Peak, and the imposing Bloupunt Peak. It is a demanding outing built for runners who enjoy sustained elevation and rugged terrain. Along the way, the course showcases the raw beauty of the Langeberg mountains and the Klein Karoo, pairing punishing gradients with striking panoramic scenery. The atmosphere is one of grit, endurance, and mountain running at its harshest and most rewarding.
